Sesquicentennial Spotlight Tour -
Looking for something to do this summer? We have it covered…
Starting now the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission will be sponsoring a Sesquicentennial Spotlight Tour. Each month a new tour will be unveiled showcasing each of Minnesota’s five natural regions. These tours will take travelers from interesting sites and landmarks, to the Honorary Capital towns in each region and to each community that was nominated in the Capital for a Day program. Minnesota has so many unique sites. We at the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission want to help you experience all that that this state has to offer.
Keep watch this summer for the Sesquicentennial Spotlight Tours:
June – Tallgrass Aspen Parklands
July – Deciduous Forest/Prairie Grassland
August – Coniferous Forest
September – Driftless Area
If you have any suggestions of historic landmarks, interesting sites, great restaurants or other noteworthy places of interest to be included in the Sesquicentennial Spotlight Tours, please contact Claire Plank at Claire@mn150years.org
