Minnesota Sesquicentennial Grant Program
NOW AVAILABLE for downloading and printing! |
One of the most important and exciting aspects of the 150th Anniversary of Minnesota Statehood is the Grant Program. It is the cornerstone of the anniversary observance because it is a catalyst for every one of Minnesota’s 87 counties to get involved in the Sesquicentennial. In the first round of grants, for example, communities and organizations more than tripled the grant monies awarded in cash and in-kind matches.
Watch this page for upcoming information on grant projects and follow the links to the right to see the list of grant awards thus far. All of the $325,000 appropriated by the State Legislature in 2007 will be awarded by the end of January 2008. Thanks to everyone who has applied and we look forward to watching your projects grow in 2008!
